The project wants to develop a new ECVET professional profile: the FOSS Business User (FOSS-BU). As a proper European standard on FOSS education for business is missing, the project intends to define a new reference curriculum allowing the international recognition of FOSS skills and the transferability of FOSS competences at European level. This will favoure transparency and improve the mobility and employability of SMEs staff in Europe; staff that is able to introduce and use FOSS effectively in a company seeking for the FOSS benefits.
